Ferguson whisky tours are organized and led by Andrew Ferguson a Scotch whisky specialist with Kensington Wine Market in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Andrew has immersed himself in the Scotch whisky industry and all things Scottish over the last 10 years and is recognized as one of the foremost whisky experts in Canada. Andrew was made a Keeper of the Quaich in May of 2011, the first Canadian retail whisky expert to be so honoured, for his service to the Scotch Whisky industry.

Andrew put together his first whisky tour of Scotland in September of 2008 and since then has organized and lead more than 10 week long whisky tours of Islay and the West Coast, the Speyside and Southern Highlands, as well as Orkney and the Northern Highlands. Andrew is looking forward to organizing and guiding whisky tours in Japan beginning in May of 2013.

Andrew is a native of Calgary, studied Military History at the University of Calgary, plays hockey and competes in triathlons. In both 2010 and 2011 Andrew qualified for and competed in the World Championships in Xterra, an off-road form of triathlon.
“Andrew helped establish the Calgary chapter of the Companions of the Quaich whisky club in 2007, of which he is president. He is also an Ambassador for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society in Canada.
